College hockey does not have a midseason all-star game to rival the one the NHL holds each season.
But to capture the spirit of the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Game in Las Vegas on Saturday (3 p.m. ET; ABC, SN, TVAS), On Campus decided to pick 12 all-stars, a First Team and a Second Team, through the first three-plus months of the NCAA season.
Seven of the 12 players will skate in the 2022 Beijing Olympics and one is an alternate.
A sophomore who didn't play an NCAA game last season after being injured while playing for Canada at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, Levi has been a difference-maker. The 20-year-old was 12-1 with one tie and 12 goals allowed in 14 games from Oct. 29-Jan. 8.
Levi's .948 save percentage is second among NCAA goalies behind Quinnipiac University freshman Yaniv Perets (.953), and his nine shutouts are tied with Perets for the most in the NCAA. He will play for Canada at the 2022 Olympics and figures to contend for the Hobey Baker Award given to the best player in Division I college hockey and the Mike Richter Award, given to the best goalie.
Levi was selected by the Florida Panthers in the seventh round (No. 212) of the 2020 NHL Draft. He and a first-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft were traded to the Buffalo Sabres for forward Sam Reinhart on July 24, 2021.
Owen Power , University of Michigan
Power is tied with Zach Metsa of Quinnipiac for the scoring lead among NCAA defensemen with 26 points (three goals, 23 assists) in 24 games. He was chosen by the Sabres with the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, the third college player to be selected first, joining Boston University goalie Rick DiPietro (New York Islanders, 2000 NHL Draft) and Michigan State University forward Joe Murphy (Detroit Red Wings, 1986 NHL Draft).
The 19-year-old will play for Canada in Beijing.
Jake Sanderson , University of North Dakota
There might not be a better player in college hockey this season than Sanderson, who will play for the United States in the Olympics.
"He's a stud," North Dakota goalie Zach Driscoll told the Grand Forks Herald after Sanderson scored a dazzling third-period goal against St. Cloud State University on Jan. 29. "There's a reason why he's going overseas this week. Big-time players make those kinds of big-time plays."
Sanderson was chosen in the first round (No. 5) by the Ottawa Senators in the 2020 draft. The 19-year-old is the son of former NHL forward Geoff Sanderson, who played 1,104 games with eight teams.

Matty Beniers , University of Michigan
Beniers is the type of player coaches love because he gives maximum effort in the defensive and the offensive zone. The 19-year-old was selected by the Seattle Kraken with the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft and is a member of the United States Olympic team.
The sophomore is second in the NCAA with 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) in 28 games, five behind Minnesota State University junior forward Nathan Smith .
Bobby Brink , University of Denver
Brink leads the NCAA with 27 assists. The 20-year-old junior is third in scoring behind Smith and Beniers with 35 points in 24 games and has scored 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) during an eight-game point streak.
Brink was selected in the second round (No. 34) of the 2019 NHL Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Nathan Smith, Minnesota State University
After scoring 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists) in 35 games as a freshman and 25 (nine goals, 16 assists) in 28 games as a sophomore, Smith leads all NCAA players with 41 points (15 goals, 26 assists) in 28 games as a junior.
The 23-year-old played roller hockey growing up and later advanced from high school hockey in Tampa, Florida, to Cedar Rapids of the United States Hockey League before enrolling at Minnesota State. He will play for the United States in the Olympics.
Smith was selected in the third round (No. 91) of the 2018 NHL Draft by the Winnipeg Jets.
Jakub Dobes , Ohio State University
Dobes is third among NCAA goalies with a .938 save percentage and 9-1 with two ties in his past 12 games. The 20-year-old freshman was selected in the fifth round (No. 136) of the 2020 draft by the Montreal Canadiens.
Ronnie Attard , Western Michigan University
The junior has scored 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists) in 23 games. The 22-year-old was selected by the Flyers in the third round (No. 72) of the 2019 draft.
The 23-year-old undrafted senior has scored 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 26 games, tied with Power for most among NCAA defensemen. His plus-29 leads all college hockey.
Brendon Brisson , University of Michigan
The 20-year-old has scored 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) in 29 games and is tied for the NCAA lead with four other players in game-winning goals (five). The sophomore was selected in the first round (No. 29) by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2021 draft and is a member of the United States Olympic team.
Kent Johnson , University of Michigan
An alternate for Canada at the Olympics, Johnson has scored 30 points (six goals, 24 assists) in 23 games. The 19-year-old sophomore was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets with the No. 5 pick in the 2021 draft.
Ben Meyers, University of Minnesota
The undrafted junior leads Minnesota with 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 26 games. The 23-year-old will play for the United States in Beijing.
